WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING MY FIRST APPOINTMENT?
For therapy to be effective, it is important for you to feel you’ve connected with the right therapist. I want you to feel comfortable and to leave your first appointment with great hope for your future!
When you come in, we are going to touch on many areas of your life: your family and supportive relationships, your physical and mental health and how you are coping with the things you do every day, such as career, school or caring for your family. Then we will talk about the reasons you are seeking support and what you would like to accomplish during our time together. Lastly, we will talk about ways we might work together to reach your desired goal.
If you feel good about the time you just spent with me, we will schedule another appointment!
